(Saikyo no Shokugyo wa Yusha demo Kenja demo naku Kanteishi (Kari) Rashii Desu yo?) (Kanteishi) premieres sometime in April 2026.
Atekichi and Akira Shigaraki released the original The Strongest Job Is Apparently Not a Hero or a Sage, but an Appraiser (Provisional)! light novel on March 1st, 2017. AlphaPolis has since published seven volumes.

The new isekai protagonist and his new cute friends are as follows:
- Hibiki Manabe — Hisako Kanemoto (Elmesia from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime). Hibiki is an ordinary student of below-average stature.
- Emalia Steinbart — Shizuka Ito (Kai Harn in Bastard!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy-). Emalia is an elven maiden who appears younger than she is.
- Lilian — Lamalfa Michelle Tateyama (Socorano Seitou from The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World). Lilian is a hard-working girl with a great destiny ahead of her.

Hibiki Manabe’s school life suddenly came to an end. He was ready to start the last day before summer break. Hibiki opened the classroom door and found himself in a vast, open grassland in another world. He wandered around for three days, barely surviving on bread and water bottles. A horned rabbit prompted him to speak verbal commands that revealed his new cheat skills.
Hibiki’s “appraisal” skill unlocked a world map and the ability to read people’s stats. He quickly left the grasslands and met the elf girl Emalia Steinbart, who informed him that he had just escaped a monster that trapped people in an endless maze. Emalia followed the spirits’ guidance to find Hibiki before something unfortunate happened. An unknown god observed their fateful meeting and mentioned keeping a promise to Hibiki.
