A 26-year old Japanese woman was arrested for suspected kidnapping of a 16-year old high school boy in Hyogo Prefecture that happened on Christmas Eve last year. The suspect claimed that she only merely invited the boy to her apartment.
“I let him in since he told me he was having problems. There was no involuntary confinement at all,” the teacher said.
According to the police report filed by the boy’s mother, the relationship between her son and the teacher has been going on for quite some time. The mother also sent a complaint to the school in September because the suspect was calling their residence hoping to lure him to get into her house.
The minor confirmed that nothing sexual has happened between him and his sensei. However, he approached her one day and said that he was going to officially cut off ties with his family which led to him staying in her apartment from 22 December 4 p.m. to 23 December 4:50 a.m., which alarmed his mother and led to the woman’s arrest for suspected kidnapping.
The teacher was immediately released the next day. In a report by Livedoor News, the teacher is a single mother of two hoping to get a job in the entertainment industry.
