Uzaki spends Sakurai’s days off with him playing video games, shopping, and cooking for him at his apartment.
Episode 4 – “I Want to Hang Out Together Over the Holiday!”
Hmm.
Kuso Cat in Uzaki-chan gets more mysterious each episode. Now it’s a Pokemon Go! character! I mean, Doramon Go!… Funimation translated “くそ” (kuso) as “lousy,” but the Japanese word is much ruder than that. As the literal word for “feces,” kuso takes on many of the same emphatic uses and exclamations in Japanese that English uses for its rude variations on “feces.” Lousy Cat is a nice PG rated version of That Damn Cat. Kuso Cat is also a good example of the recurring gags in the Uzaki-chan manga and now that I see it in a mobile game, it means I should just laugh whenever it shows up. There doesn’t need to be a deeper meaning to Kuso Cat.
On the topic of mysterious events, what did Sakurai do to himself to avoid letting Uzaki feel his pants get tighter? He willed himself into a Zen state to keep his willy from getting wee-weed up! First, that’s amazing willpower. Or meditation training? Sports psychology image training? Second, Sakurai gave away that he really wants some paizuri action from Uzaki-chan. Who could blame him? Uzaki herself is so innocent she felt flustered at the idea of an unintentional wall slam. She’s too pure! Perhaps Sakurai’s priority is protecting Uzaki’s purity, which is also the biggest obstacle in letting them become an official bakappuru.
Heh.
The Asais are spending Golden Week at an onsen, so they’ll leave Sakurai to his own devices. Gaming devices, that is. 72 hours straight! That’s some great loner motivation. Aw, I wanted to catch a glimpse of Ami at the hot springs inn. I’m amazed Uzaki-chan let Sakurai have three days to himself. Jiggle mechanics are still going strong.
Ha! Kuso Cat is the star of Doramon Go! Gotta catch them all, or something like that, while standing outside with other people. Will Sakurai agree to that? He can’t deny Uzaki-chan, of course. So many different Kuso Cats. Look at Uzaki’s scowling face when she’s scowling at Sakurai’s scowling face. It’s the Inception of scowling. Uzaki-chan likes its gags. Uzaki only captures Kuso Cats. Sakurai only captures Gorillas.
Oh ho. Glasses shopping for blocking monitor blue light. You know what would be better for Sakurai’s eyes? How about closing them for a few hours. It’s called sleep. He should check in to that. Are there no pettanko women in Uzaki-chan? The saleslady is also SUGOI DEKAI. And Ami is here too! This vignette isn’t about gaming. It’s about pairing a glasses fetish with our featured short stack! Funimation’s pun translations are good. Ami will be their “glassistant.” They should ask the megane dekai saleslady for “glassistance” too. Fun. The major brand name is “Uza,” based on Uzaki-chan, just like “Tawawa” appeared everywhere for Himura Kiseki’s Tawawa on Monday.
Yes! Uzaki wearing blue blockers. Ho ho. The girls like Sakurai in glasses. Well, the frames hide his mean eyes. Lots of gags using Sakurai’s appearance. I’d rather have Uzaki-chan showing up in these scenarios. Ami and Uzaki get along great in making fun of Sakurai. He still does all the stuff they ask him, so he’s enjoying their company on some level. Not that he could admit it. Uzaki in red glasses… give me all of that! Hah! Sakurai gave Uzaki back some of her guff. She didn’t like that. They’re a literal bakappuru by calling each other “baka” in public.
Oh, right. Uzaki is still playing that Doramon Go!. There are so many Kuso Cat variations. Sakurai’s Gorillas look all the same. Here we go. All the romcom clichés and fetishes about crowded trains. Hee. Sakurai claims Gorillas like him in the Doramon Go! game, not the other way around. Uh oh. Sakurai is going to like pressing against Uzaki-chan too much.
Huh? Sakurai’s concentration powers are too strong! Going into an instant trance on a moving train is dangerous, though. Hoh? Uzaki wants a wall slam from Sakurai. Oh no. Uzaki-chan smells like a girl! Kuso Cat censorship! Wow. Sakurai was so desperate not to have any sexual urges for Uzaki. If she knew the truth, she should feel insulted. Well, Sakurai suffered the right punishment. End of the line! At least he got something besides a Gorilla in that Doramon Go! game.
Master Asai enjoyed that story. Yes, Sakurai is a spooky ninja. Uh oh. The elder Asai might have learned Ami is not the conventionally socialized young woman he imagined. Sakurai is actively avoiding romantic relationships too. What’s with young adults these days? Aw. Uzaki is sad they won’t have any more three-day weekends. Sakurai is a softy. Uzaki just maneuvered him into hanging out together more often. Women, even innocent short stacks, are devious. No trains for Sakurai. Pouty jiggle mechanics.
Right. It’s the rainy season. Uzaki-chan made her SUGOI DEKAI shirt all wet. This is the total girlfriend experience. Showering at his place, wearing his clothes, and cooking for him. Steamy censorship. Uza brand curry. The mashed-up game titles in Uzaki-chan crack me up. NyaaCraft is both Minecraft and Warcraft! Ah. Sakurai did get video game glasses. Lazy day montage. Uzaki-chan is truly a slice-of-life gag comedy with romcom spice. Uza brand spice! Isn’t this Uzaki’s dream come true? Almost a perfect day. Sakurai even invited her back the next day. Leaving her train pass at his apartment is just one step closer to her plan of sleeping over. Do your best, Uzaki-chan!
