Kamihime’s are beings that possess the powers of gods and devils. Only the mightiest humans achieve this power, and they are the main girls in your party. To help them, you have Souls and Eidolons. Souls, from what I can tell, act like the commander of your party; their skills on the battlefield are second to none. Eidolons are a type of support unit that you can summon to help you, but they are also your basic enemies. Defeating them in battle can add them as a reward to your party.
Although the lore is interesting enough, the story centers around the usual fight between good and evil. If you want to skip that and just jump into the gameplay and boobs, then you can skip the story sequences and just read the summary of each scene in one single sentence, which is really handy!
You progress though the game by completing quests in the main quest chain. The quests don’t vary much—even if the story and reason for each quest differs—the outcome is mostly the same; defeat the bad guys.
I loved the combat in this hentai game. It does everything right for a browser/mobile game of this type, and that’s a good thing, since you’ll be engaged in combat most of the time. The game’s graphics and animation sequences are gorgeous. Some summons do visually spectacular power attacks, and you can feel the impact of all the hits and slashes your team executes.
The game play is a toned down turn base JRPG, since you just need to press a button for your girls to attack, all at the same time. There’s still a bit of strategy though. After some turns, the girls can go into burst mode, unleashing powerful attacks. You can tell them to hold back, until the right moment. You can also tell the girls to focus on a single target, use healing items, or summon one of your Eidolons after a couple of turns. One thing you should also keep in mind is the weaknesses of your party members and of their enemies. For example, water beats fire, but thunder beats water, and so on. After you finish every battle, you advance to the next stage, until you encounter the boss of that quest and defeat him. After collecting all the spoils at the end, your girls will earn XP and level up.
To build up your party, you need to progress through the game and use gems or jewels (in-game currency) to buy gacha rolls. The gacha system is the main way to collect girls, weapons, and other items. You get a free daily gacha, but you can also buy them with Nutaku Gold (paid in real world currency). The gacha that are paid with Nutaku gold may have a higher drop rate of Super Rare girls, but that’s to be expected. In any case, you can do just fine with just gems and jewels as a casual player. All the girls look gorgeous anyway.
Speaking of girls! This is a hentai game, after all, and the first thing you’ll notice is that the H-Scenes are beautifully animated. They can appear during the story of the main game play, but a huge chunk of them appear in the “Harem” section of the game. Here you can view light visual novels of all the girls you acquire, of any type (be it, Kamihime, Souls, or Eidolons). These origin stories reward you with a prize at the end.
Now the lewd part. If you reach certain conditions, you can have some private time with your favorite girls, and wow, does it look good! You can also rewatch any H-scene you unlocked in the main story.
Since this is an online game you can get help from players before each battle, or even form a “Union”, a type of clan/guild. Being part of one can increase your stats during each fight. There is also an enhancement menu. Here you can upgrade your girls by using the items you’ve acquired, and this is needed if you want to break their limits in order to watch their respective special H-scenes! You also get rewarded for daily logins, and have daily/weekly missions, alongside special events.
Kamihime Project R is a browser/mobile online hentai game that’s packed full of content. Even if you’re not that into hentai, this game will have you hooked for hours! The visuals are excellent, the animation is great, and the music really compliments the fast paced and engaging battles.
