Sailor Mercury Cosplay, Make Up!
Do you need a refresher on your Pretty Guardians? Sailor Mercury is the Guardian of Water and Wisdom (or, intelligence, depending on which version you’re watching). Throughout the series, she wields the powers of water, ice, frost, snow, and all other water-related elements. The series, which first debuted in 1991, is quickly headed for its 35th anniversary!
Sailor Mercury isn’t only a front-line fighter, though. Not only can she create a strong protective barrier, but in Sailor Moon Crystal, she can teleport her friends to safety! Plus, she’s equipped with a miniature supercomputer that helps her take charge of intel for the Sailor Team.

Ami Mizuno: The Genius Sailor
Outside of her Pretty Guardian powers, Ami Mizuno is one of the most intelligent girls around, even becoming a national genius. Unfortunately, Ami grew up the child of divorce, and following in her mother’s footsteps to become a doctor isolated her from her peers.
Thankfully, joining the Sailor Team gives Ami a found family, so it all works out nicely in the end. Ami Mizuno can be shy and reserved, but her dazzling blue hair and eyes make her look like a shining gemstone. And after all, nothing’s more attractive than a hot girl with blue hair and whip-smart intelligence!

Why We Love Sailor Mercury Cosplay
There’s something distinctly nostalgic about Sailor Moon, especially for anyone who grew up with the original anime in the ’90s. Still, even if your introduction to the series was with Sailor Moon Crystal (or one of the Japanese live-action series), each Sailor girl has their own distinct temperament and personality.
Sailor Mercury’s intelligence and distinctive hair make her stand out even among the other beauties of her team. She might be the second Sailor Guardian, but she’s number one in our hearts!
