Easter is in the air, and even though the Japanese don’t have much cultural awareness of the true meaning of the holiday, they love cute things, which means companies are happy to “hop” (sorry) on the Easter marketing bandwagon and make kawaii versions of popular products for us. One such company is Nestle Japan, which has brought out two wonderful flavors of Easter Kit Kat for us to eat. And since J-List is having an Easter Sale on all Japanese snacks and drinks, giving you 5x J-List Points through April 22, the timing is excellent!
There are two flavors of Easter Kit Kat from Japan this year: traditional chocolate + banana, plus true banana both outside and inside. They’re great to eat as-is, or you can do what we do and freeze an extra bag until summer, popping them into your mouth when it’s hot outside. Each bag contains 14 mini Kit Kats, which are of course individually wrapped, because this is Japan.
But you have to hurry. Along with all our other chocolate products, these Easter Kit Kats are going to be removed from the site very soon. Because summer is so hot and humid in Japan, all chocolate is removed from the site in early May, and put back in stock in October. So this might be the last chance you get for several months to get the Japanese Kit Kat you want!
