It’s not every day you hear about a celebrity talking about their favorite girl in an anime show. Remember when pro wrestler @greatblackotaku named one of his moves the Nico Nico Knee? That got a lot of fans talking, but now everyone is ecstatic to learn that another celebrity is part of the anime community.
Recently, actor William Shatner posted a tweet about who he thinks is the best girl from the school idol anime, Love Live! He claims that Umi is his waifu of choice. Anime fans took to Twitter to give their opinions on best girl, while others appreciated the fact that another celebrity has opened up about watching anime.
It’s really awesome seeing more celebrities openly show their love for anime. The anime community continues to grow and I know there are other celebrities who are anime fans too. While I have yet to watch Love Live! myself (I prefer im@s), it seems everyone I know usually picks Maki or Nico as best girl. It makes me wonder though, who truly is the best girl in Love Live!?
