The official website of the anime adaptation of Miyuki Nakayama’s Blend S manga series has revealed the main staff and the first visual for the series on Saturday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2017.
The revealed staff consists of:
- Director: Ryouji Masuyama (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: Parallel Works)
- Series Composition: Gou Zappa (Kitakubu Katsudou Kiroku)
- Character Design: Yousuke Okuda (Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?)
- Studio: A-1 Pictures (Ao no Exorcist, Sword Art Online)

Blend S is a Japanese four-panel comic strip manga written and illustrated by Miyuki Nakayama. It made its first appearance in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine with the October 2013 issue. An anime adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures will premiere in October 2017.
Here is a synopsis of the series:
Sakura Nomiya is, by nature, a person with bad luck and always gets into trouble, but knows Dino, who manages a cafeteria. However, it is not any cafeteria, and the waitresses have to act according to their “attributes.”
