I love it when an online artist gets popular enough to publish their art. Not only does that give us more ecchi anime art books, but it keeps the spirit of doujinshi alive! And if you’ve followed konomi, you know their rise to fame was stellar. Few creators transition from original drawings to illustrating serialized light novels. Yet it’s konomi’s art on titles like Liar Liar and Cross Connect. And if you’ve ever read those light novels, you know konomi is a master at illustrating voluptuous waifus. While the illustrations never become pornographic, there’s always a stimulating eroticism to them.

My favorite doujins are the ones that give you a candid feel. If a doujin can pull me into its world, I instantly love it, and I know others do too. There’s always a peak of nudity, but it’s never obscene — it’s the wholesome lewdness you share with someone you love.
KAYOism3 features original waifus, so don’t expect to see any big-name girls in this, but that does little to detract from its charm.
