The great mage Luck stood strong against a horde of demons to allow his allies a chance to escape. He reasoned that they had families waiting for them and that only the Hero could defeat the Majin King. Luck persisted for years until his battle came to an end. Although he didn’t know it, both the world and he himself underwent significant changes during the war. We’ll see how he confronts these changes when I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand (Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Itte kara 10-nen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita) premieres sometime in April 2026.

Ezogingitune released the original I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand novel on the user-generated website Shosetsuka ni Naro from June 21st, 2018, to January 15th, 2021. DeeCHA provided the art for the light novel adaptation, which debuted on February 15th, 2019. SB Creative has since published seven volumes in the GA Novel imprint. Chako Abeno provided the art for the manga adaptation, which debuted on August 3rd, 2019. Square Enix has since published eighteen volumes in Manga Up!.

The unaware legend and two of his new cute friends are as follows:
- Luck Lock Franzen — Gakuto Kajiwara (Hitohito Tadano from Komi Can’t Communicate). Luck is the legendary mage who fought to protect humanity for ten years.
- Celliss Morton — Yui Ishikawa (YoRHa No. 2 Type B (2B) from Nier: Automata Ver1.1a). Celliss is strong and fierce, and the daughter of Luck’s former acquaintance.
- Sia Wolcott — Mayu Sagara (Z16 Friedrich Eckoldt from Azur Lane). Sia is a werewolf and a proud vampire hunter.

I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand, And Now I’ll Enjoy My Free Time
The Hero Party, led by Erik Mendilibar, Golan Morton, and Luck Lock Franzen, set out to defeat the Great Majin Army and the Majin King before they could lay waste to humanity. These three brave souls stood firm in an interdimensional corridor that separated their world and the demon world. They fought off the demons and even wounded the Majin King. However, the ruler retreated, allowing the heroes a moment of respite. The heroes used that time to poke fun at Luck for spending more time studying magic than finding a family, as Golan and Erik had done.
The Great Majin Army ends their reverie and advances on the Hero Party once again. Luck tells his comrades to leave him behind, as they’ll need the Hero to finish the Majin King once and for all. Luck stands vigil for ten years and returns home triumphant, having slain the Majin King by himself. He soon discovers the time difference and reunites with his friends, who tearfully welcome him home. Luck is astonished to see that they wrote him as a legend who sacrificed his life to save everyone.
