The First Batch of Japanese Calendars is Here! Which Ones Do You Want to Order?
Looking back over the past 29 years, J-List has brought many popular categories of product to our customers around the world… but really, it all started with anime and sexy calendars. We started the company on October 1st of 1996, and quickly found a distributor of Japanese calendars, which our customers snapped up left and right. Nearly three decades later, that company is still our partner. Although the owner’s son took over the business from his father, they’re still helping us bring Japanese calendars to fans globally.
Our first 2026 lineup of anime, art, and JAV calendars is now live on the J-List site. Unlike in past years, we aren’t posting them as preorders but as in-stock products. This means we can get your calendars to you quickly, in just a few days. The downside is that most people don’t think about buying calendars until December, but by then, we might have sold out of the item(s) you want.

Anime calendars are always popular with our customers, and J-List has the first batch in stock for you. More should be dropping in November. “Artist calendars” by illustrators like Kantoku and Coffee Kizoku will probably drop in December.
One calendar we’re always happy to see every year is the Studio Ghibli release, which delights fans with totally original illustrations on each page, which can give semi-official insight into the studio’s works by revealing details not in the films. This is usually our top-selling anime calendar every year.
Traditional Art & Photo Calendars from Japan

One Japanese calendar J-List customers love is the Lucky Cat by artist Hajime Okamoto. This Japanese calendar depicts super cute cats doing seasonal things every month of the year. Find it in stock here!

I love classic Japanese cars, and so do a lot of J-List customers. Every year, they pick up the Remember: Japanese Historic Car Graffiti calendar. Each page shows you a classic Japanese car from yesteryear, allowing us to contemplate a simpler time without smartphones and social media. Find the calendar in stock here!

We love traditional calendars from Japan, and one of the most popular is the annual World Heritage Beautiful Mt. Fuji in Japan calendar, with wonderful photos of the mountain in every season. It is in stock here.

There are other fun traditional photo calendars to choose from. Like the always-popular Japan Night Scene offering, which shows Japan’s most beautiful cities illuminated at night. This year’s calendar shows Tokyo Station, Kyoto Tower, and the famous Kamakura Bridge lit up in beautiful night colors, as well as other locations. There are also several cute animal calendars, including cats and Shiba dogs up for preorder.
Naturally, J-List has 2026 JAV Calendars, Too

Finally, Japan wouldn’t be Japan without some sexy calendars, and we’ve got lots of pin-up and nude calendars for you, featuring Japan’s gorgeous JAV stars. All calendars are tastefully nude and show nipples and asses, and are great for displaying on your wall all year long. Browse the JAV calendars we’ve got in stock here!
