POP-UP PARADE’s Rias Gremory L Size Figure — It’s Oppaitastic!
I think High School DxD Hero has a better art style than the original High School DxD. Luckily for me, and anyone who agrees, Good Smile Company modeled this figure after DxD Hero’s art style.
Both versions of this figure feature Rias in her iconic school uniform. Her pose is a triumphant half-kneel, and her expression is a charming, smug smile. While the Doki Doki version emphasizes Rias’s chest, neither figure is explicitly NSFW. However, both beautifully highlight Rias’ alluring figure. After all, a figure’s pose can accentuate personality and sex appeal, and GSC and Hose did just that. This figure’s pose adds a slightly risqué touch with its reflective base, but it also enhances her charismatic demon aura.
The paintwork on the Rias Gremory L Size figure is stunning. Its colors are vibrant and striking, and even the soft glow of her skin gets a vivid rendering. The subtle creases in her uniform are hyper-realistic, despite the figure lacking overly complicated parts.
Best of all, as I mentioned earlier, this figure’s base is reflective! While you can’t see underneath Rias’ skirt from eye level, a slight downward glance will give you a rewarding view! High School DxD Deets
High School DxD is a light novel series from writer Ichiei Ishibumi with illustrations by Miiyama-Zero. Fujimi Shobo published 25 volumes of the light novel under their Fujimi Bunko imprint. The story has been adapted into a manga by Hiroji Mishima. It also boasts a spin-off light novel and two spin-off manga, including High School DxD: Asia and Koneko’s Secret Contracts!?, by Hiorichi, and High School DxD: The Work of a Devil, by SODA. The series has also inspired two video games and an internet radio show.
So far, four seasons of High School DxD have aired. Studio TNK animated the first three seasons and their OVAs. The adventurous team at Studio Passione animated the fourth season.
The story follows Issei Hyodo, a high school student who, in his quest to become a “harem king,” went to the realm of the Dodo on his first date. Fortunately for Issei, a busty demon revives him so he can serve her and her family. As his relationship with Rias blossoms, others around them would prefer it to quickly end.
