We have another isekai series coming over the horizon. Fluffy Paradise (Isekai de Mofumofu Nadenade suru Tame ni Ganbattemasu / I’ll Try My Best So I Can Pet Fluffy Things in Another World) grants a cute cheat skill. EMT Squared, the studio behind Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear and Nyanko Days, is making this, so fans should expect plenty of cute moments. We’ll see how adorable things can get when the series premieres sometime in January 2024. Until then, let’s enjoy the new trailer.
Himawari released the original novel Fluffy Paradise to Shosetsuka ni Naro on November 5th, 2012. Futabasha obtained the publishing rights and hired the artist Kiouran to adapt the series to a light novel format. Fifteen volumes have been published in the M Novels f imprint as of July 15th, 2016.
Our cute isekai protagonist and a couple of friends are as follows:
- Nefertima “Nema” Osfe / Midori Ikitsu — Ai Kakuma (Chino in Naruto Shippuden). A young woman who overworked herself to death. God granted her wish to befriend any non-human being in the new world.
- God — Shin-ichiro Miki (James / Kojiro in Pokémon). A divine being who tasks Nema to decide whether humanity in the new world should continue to exist.
- Las — Taketora (Garneau Belway in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?). A white tiger who takes a liking to Nema.

Reborn in Another World to Pet Fluffy Animals
Fluffy Paradise is a cute and funny isekai series. It begins with our protagonist, a 24-year-old office worker who has worked herself to death. She collapses as she is about to arrive home in the anime, but she seems to have died in her sleep on her bed in the manga. Regardless, God appears and offers her a new chance at life. He offers to send her to a new world with any blessing she wishes. His true goal is for her to assist him in deciding whether humanity should continue to exist. They have apparently oppressed other species, and God is none too happy with them.
Midori jumps at the chance for a divine blessing. She wants to cuddle and pet fluffy animals. The cat she loves does not love her back. God is confused, but he agrees and sends her off to the world of Asdylon. Here, Midori is reborn as Nefertima “Nema” Osfe, the third in line of the noble Osfe family. She now lives in the Kingdom of Gashe on the continent of Rashia. Her divine blessing kicks in instantly, and animals near and far love her dearly. That includes a white tiger, who should only show affection to its master, the Prince of Gashe. She must now live a life of fluffiness and maybe check on that “oppression” thing God mentioned.
