This Saturday, August 7th, was Hana Uzaki’s birthday, so the official social media accounts for the Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! anime held a live stream celebration.
The voice actors for Sakurai and Uzaki-chan (Kenji Akabane and Naomi Oozora), and a special guest in a Kuso Cat mask, made several announcements during the stream on Niconico and Twitter. Uzaki will cover the opening and ending theme songs on a new soundtrack release coming this fall. The album will also have two new character songs. One sung by Uzaki and Sakurai and another sung by Sakurai, Ami, and Sakaki.
The manga artist for Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!, Take, unveiled new birthday art for Hana Uzaki. It congratulated her on her birthday and on receiving a second anime season. After that, the birthday stream revealed more news.
That’s right! Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! will broadcast the second season in 2022! The new teaser art includes Hana’s little sister Yanagi Uzaki. At the end of the season finale in 2020, the Uzaki-chan website announced the green light for the second season. Now we have a confirmed timeframe for the arrival of more SUGOI DEKAI comedy.
