Many isekai protagonists become heroes during their adventures in another world. In this case, the protagonist of The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World (Sentai Red Isekai de Boukensha ni Naru) is already a legendary hero. A Super Sentai hero won’t easily bow out. But we’ll see this hero and his new cute witch friend in action when Red Ranger Isekai premieres sometime in January 2025.
Koyoshi Nakayoshi released the original Red Ranger Isekai manga series on October 12th, 2020. Square Enix has since published seven volumes in Monthly Shonen Gangan.
The Super Sentai hero and two of his new friends are as follows:
- Togo Asagaki / Kizuna Red — Tomoya Ito (High school student B from The Maid I Hired Recently is Mysterious). A famous hero from Japan whose final attack brought him to another world.
- Idola Avom — Konomi Inagaki (Copano Rickey from Uma Musume Pretty Derby). The heir to a magical family who works to restore her family’s prestige.
- Teltina Liz Wagrel Alvarost — Minami Tanaka (Nitocris, Valkyrie Ortlinde from Fate/Grand Order). The third princess of the Alvarost Empire and Idola’s acquaintance.
Satelight has maintained a home page and a Twitter (X) page to promote Red Ranger Isekai. You can find more information about the series and the key visuals there. A Ranger will be a Ranger no matter what world he’s in.
Protect Everyone’s Bonds, Red Ranger Isekai!
Togo Asagaki, Kizuna Red of the Kizuna Five Ranger team, settles his battle against the evil Exterminator King. He used all his power in one final attack that should have ended them both. However, Togo found himself in another world. This magical land also has problems, and he spent the next six months traveling around to determine his purpose in this new world.
Idola Avom hopes to regain her family’s position as the Royal Family’s Wand. Her plan is to excavate “mana-metal” from a dangerous dungeon. To that end, she hires the B-Rank Adventurer Toga after his strange powers wipe out her test golem. His enthusiasm for justice and protecting bonds is weird, but his strength is undeniable. Toga joins Idola to fulfill her dream and find his way home.
