My Oni Girl (Suki demo Kirai na Amanojaku) will take viewers on an adventure spanning two dissimilar worlds. A cute-girl-with-a cute horn leaves her world to find her mother in the human world. A boy who is too eager to please joins in her life-threatening mission. This movie will premiere on May 24th, 2024. We can enjoy the Japanese and English trailers until then.
Tomotaka Shibayama and Yuko Kakihara wrote and directed My Oni Girl for Studio Colorido and Twin Engine.
Our horned girl and her new friend are as follows:
- Tsumugi — Miyu Tomita (Funifura from KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!). The titular oni (ogre) girl leaves for the human world to find her mother.
- Hiiragi Yatsuse — Kensho Ono (Giorno Giovanna from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure). A shy boy who wants to get along with others. This has led to him being unable to refuse anyone’s requests.

My Oni Girl Searches for Mother
A cute-girl-with-a-cute-horn left home to search for her mother. Tsumugi is an oni who was born and raised around magic. For unclear reasons, her mother resides somewhere in the human world. Tsumugi left the comfort and safety of her home to find her. Hiiragi Yatsuse is a shy boy who desires to make friends. However, he’s going about it all wrong. He is unable or unwilling to turn down any request.
Hiiragi agreed to help Tsumugi find her mother after encountering dangerous supernatural forces. Snow began to fall and blanket the ground, beckoning their adventure.
