What a surprise Tawawa on Monday gave us this week. The credit sequence only features three couples, Aichan and Oniisan, Kouhai-chan and Senpai, and Bangs-chan and Sensei. There were no hints that Cheer-chan and Baseball-Club-kun would be joining them. The Tawawa merchandise store knew about Cheer-chan, as you can see on their specials page on the anime’s website. She’s a full-fledged member after her splashy debut. And what a debut!
Tawawa on Monday revealed many things about Cheer-chan in only four minutes. She’s a cheerleader for her school’s baseball team. Cameramen, and their sketchy angles, love her. Her childhood friend, Baseball-Club-kun, still hasn’t resolved his feelings about his curvy female best friend. Cheer-chan has more than a G-cup, but she’s not being specific. Baseball-Club-kun is the tsundere in their relationship, but he’s also her number one fan. And Cheer-chan uses public interviews to pressure him into making their longtime association into something more official. The poor dude needs prodding.
The focus was on Cheer-chan’s budding gravure modeling career affecting Baseball-Club-kun. But Tawawa on Monday used Kouhai-chan and Senpai to mirror the new couple in a fun way. Kouhai-chan has been modeling for sketchy camera angles too! Her cosplay forays for the benefit of her roommate from college introduce comedic and sexy benefits for her Senpai at work. I like how he breezily teases her by ignoring her embarrassment. It’s his small way of paying her back for the complaints he gets from his male colleagues. They don’t like how he has proof that he spends so much time with the curvaceous Kouhai-chan out of the office. Baseball-Club-kun, the new guy with no eyes on Tawawa on Monday, will soon have much in common with Senpai.

Kouhai-chan suggestively bobs her head. Of course. She’s eating ramen. Speaking of suggestive camera placement, Kouhai-chan noticed how high school baseball cheerleaders showed up on television. Senpai warns her about her history with sketchy camera angles. Hoho. Kouhai-chan still fits in her sailor uniform. Oh? She meant to send that pic to her college roommate. When do we meet her in Tawawa on Monday? Ha! Senpai ignores questions about file deletion. An omission is as good as a confession!
Oh, really? We have a fourth Tawawa girl and her beset-upon male counterpart. Baseball-Club-kun doesn’t know how to handle the public discovering how beautiful his childhood friend is. He could barely manage Cheer-chan before she became a gravure bikini model. Now he hears about social media guessing about her cup size. It’s not a G-cup!
Baseball-Club-kun witnessed firsthand and privately Cheer-chan’s explosive growth spurts. He feels uncomfortable with the rest of Japan ogling her in pictorial magazines. Worse, Cheer-chan caught him gawking at her swimsuit spread! Of course, he bought the magazine. Ack! Cheer-chan started using him as cover to keep potential suitors away! You know she means it, no matter how glibly she plays it off. Baseball-Club-kun has joined the other Tawawa on Monday club of stressed-out male partners.
Fun! Senpai discovered the other pictures Kouhai-chan worried so much about. Cosplaying at Comiket! She needs to put on a private event for Senpai and his cat.
