Japanese media watchdog group Broadcasting Ethics and Program Improvement Organization (BPO) unveiled a summary of viewer comments they received during the month of October, including several complaints about anime content. The complaints describe the content of the anime but the titles of the anime are not exposed.
One complaint refers to a late-night anime Inuyashiki:
In the TV anime, there was a scene where someone invades a home and kills the family members one by one. It was cruel and uncomfortable to watch. Even though the anime airs during a late night time slot, I am worried that children will be negatively influenced by seeing this type of behaviour.
