A lot of times, women in hentai are drawn with a style of anatomy that could best be described as “a stick with two watermelons attached to it.” While there’s definitely something sexy about exaggerated and otherwise impossibly slender yet curvaceous women, it’s also nice to see artists who render girls with their natural thickness. In Lickety Slit, Yahiro Pochi delivers sixteen chapters where he does just that, illustration countless buxom beauties with soft and delightfully curvy bodies.
There’s a pleasantly surprising amount of full-color content in Lickety Slit. The first four chapters of the anthology are rendered entirely in color, while the fifth chapter starts off with a few colored pages before swapping to black & white. You often see the first chapter or two of a hentai anthology like this rendered in color, but to have a whopping four and a half chapters topped off with gorgeous full-color art is a massive treat. Even better, though, is the fact that all of this colored art is absolutely incredible. Having five different stories rendered in color means we get five different full-color designs for the buxom and beautiful girls of Yahiro Pochi. From silky dark brown hair to sexy sandy blondes, every panel pops off the page with vibrancy and variety. Better yet is the masterful use of shading and tone to make already sexy art even sexier, with naturally blended shadows spilling across the thighs and breasts of each character to create some absolutely gorgeous depth.
One of the full-color chapters in Lickety Slit that stood out to me the most was a story aptly named Orgy Pals. In this chapter, a young girl with big hips, bouncing breasts and gorgeous short hair named Haruka is out on her daily morning run. She’s been jogging on the same local running path since kindergarten, so she’s made lots of friends with the other people who use the path. Specifically, she’s gotten close to plenty of men who use the path, and when one of them offers to help her get rehydrated, she blushes and accepts.
It turns out, though, that her idea of rehydrating is sucking off her running-path friends behind the nearby trees. She only recently discovered that people drink water to rehydrate, instead of sucking strangers penises like she’s been doing all these years. Nevertheless, she continues to cool off in all kinds of naughty ways with her jogging friends until the end of the day. Part of me really loved how erotic this story was, with Haruka’s sweat-drenched t-shirt being see-through and the way she’s ravaged by the others relentlessly. At the same time though, there’s something kind of dark and sad about the implication that she’s been used like this since she was a kid, and without any normal characters present in the story to ground her in reality like a mother or a friend from school, she just seems like this brain-washed jogger who only knows to have sex with creepers on the road.
There’s definitely a common theme concerning people on the younger side having sexual experiences with someone older than them in Lickety Slit, though. In Naughty Attraction, we get a few gorgeous colored pages about a boy named Takeshi and the gorgeous, incredibly bust bath-house girl named Anzu who’s always nice to him. She often lets him use the sauna by himself when there are no customers around, and while he’s in there he fantasizes about repaying the favor and ends up thinking of all the sexual ways he could do that. After noticing he got a little too excited and snapping out of it, Takeshi exits the sauna only to discover his beautiful crush Anzu playing with his younger brothers dick.
It turns out that Takeshi’s younger brother Kou and the busty bath-house girl Anzu have been doing this for a while, and Takeshi is furious. He grabs Kou and tries to leave, but Anzu stops them and decides to fool around with Takeshi too. As his brother joins in on the fun and Anzu pays more attention to him, Takeshi gets frustrated and starts to try busting out some advanced techniques to win Anzu back. Without spoiling too much, those techniques start to work, and Anzu quickly begins to see Takeshi in an entirely different light. I had a lot of fun with this chapter. Anzu is absolutely beautiful, and probably one of my favorite girls in the entire volume. Her experience and the way she uses it to toy with the younger guys is incredible, but when the tables are turned on her by Takeshi and he ends up taking the lead instead, it was an amazing twist in the dynamic that elevated this from a good story to a great one.
Even without any color, though, the artwork of Yahiro Pochi in Lickety Slit is absolutely addictive. While characters are short and slender, they also have outrageously curvy bodies that contrast with their frames in an incredibly sexy way. Yahiro Pochi also does an incredible job of depicting the natural folds and softness on the bodies of his characters, from the way large breasts squish against a face to the slight rippling of a girls belly and hips as shes grabbed from behind. Best of all, there’s a great variety to the body types presented in Lickety Slit that makes the art even more impressive. Some girls have small breasts and petite bodies, while others are short-stacks or slender beauties rocking weapons-grade cleavage. The variety and attention to detail in the art ensures that no matter which chapter you’re reading, you’re sure to be impressed by the pages.
One of the best purely black & white stories in Lickety Slit is probably one of the later chapters, Brush Love. In this story, a guy sitting in the back of a quiet calligraphy class is taking out his frustrations about his long-distance relationship on the beautiful girl sitting next to him. Specifically, he’s been annoying her by gliding his calligraphy pen across her ears all the time during class. What started out as a simple childish prank, though, has slowly turned started to feel good to her. During today’s class, the harmless prank slowly escalates into erotic play for both of them, until their sexual frustrations explode and they leave the room to express their true desires for each other.
The entire story is built around the fetish of this calligraphy pen. The boy spends almost the entire chapter doing nothing but using the pen, touching various parts of her body with it and making her strip down more and more so he can reach more sensitive parts of the body. Seeing the shy and restrained look on the girl’s face ass she tries to hide her pleasure from the class is incredible, but seeing her turn things around on the boy and use the pen on him was even more incredible. There are a lot of twists and turns to the story, but the entire thing was sexy as hell, and easily a highlight of the whole book.
Whether it’s a jogger rehydrating by sucking some dick on the side of the road, or a sexy calligraphy student engaging in some naughty play at the back of the classroom, the stories in Lickety Slit are erotic, creative, and plenty of fun. They’re only matched by the incredible and consistent artwork provided by Yahiro Pochi. Anyone looking for a new set of hentai stories to indulge in needs to look no further than this book.
