Nope, this is not a joke. Definitely not even a drill. Grooming product maker Gatsby created an anime video based on the worst and notable armpit smells. They are called the Wakki Seven. The company was able to get a common list of masculine smelly stenches after thorough research and investigation that lasted more than a decade.
Don’t let the fancy colored hairstyles and flashy outfits fool you as each handsome and awesome character that you see in this anime is based off a specific armpit smell. You might even get a whiff of these similar scents when you are out on regular days (or even in as big events like anime conventions!)
So let’s go into the specific character one by one:
First off is the character named Milk Smell. He chomps on a pacifier like some cool youngster and fires creamy and oily liquid from his main weapons called the Goo Goo Machine Guns.
The next character is Acid Smell. As the name says, he represents sharp, sour, and acidy orders. He is notable for his pointy hair and teeth. His main weapon is a projectile called the Object X.
Third character focus is Spice Smell. He presents himself mostly in a notable brave mecha anime hero pose along with his giant Spice Mill 23 weapon.
Then we have the Mold Smell. If he’s in a team or a guild of an online game, he fits the role of a magician. He is based off the smell of mold, ready to take down that stands in his way with his Musty Wand and calls upon scary cloud demons.
Of course, the classic sweaty smell is represented by this guy named Mushiniku Smell. His name translates to “steamed meat”, which shows in his shield or weapon that is a wooden steamer box lid.
Then we have Clammy Smell which his appearance looked like he came from Touken Ranbu. He holds a Nureichimonji which he hides well in a damp mop.
Then lastly, we have the rusty suit armor-wearing boy named Iron Smell which is an obvious representation of a metallic body stench.
This is probably their way of getting people to smell better or probably do something with their personal hygiene. Whatever the reason may be, Gatsby should really get this into a legit anime series.
