Does This Strange Body Please You? is a hentai manga created by Z-Ton, best known for his sexy and cute monster girls. The manga was published by our friends over at FAKKU, known for the very best hentai manga releases. It’s also fully uncensored, just like the artist intended the book to be read. It includes 230 pages — with 8 of those in color — divided into 20 chapters. This manga was first published in Japan on September 11, 2015, by GOT CORPORATION.
Nowadays, there are many monster girls in anime and manga. My first real contact with this subgenre was with Monster Musume and later with Princess X. Since then, monster girl hentai has fascinated me. I enjoy seeing how the artist created believable sexual intercourse involving mythical creatures, such as with mermaid since they are half fish and live underwater. How can you actually make babies with them? I’m happy that Does This Strange Body Please You? is here to answer my questions. And, surprisingly, they’ve given me even more than I asked for. This is probably the most jam-packed manga I’ve reviewed from FAKKU.
The book starts with the main cover story called Late Edo Period. In it, centaur women arrived in Japan during the historic period of the same name, to find strong men to mate with so that they can give birth to strong babies. At first glance, I thought the book would be a general hentai, with random monster girls and hentai scenes. I’m happy that Z-Ton did not disappoint. This story was actually the first of six episodes. In the first one, Claire, a beautiful female centaur, finds a strong male human samurai after a small misunderstanding where he saves her life. They have a good relationship and give birth to a powerful female centaur, Karen. When Karen comes of age, her father arranges Karen’s marriage with Seishirou, without the two of them knowing that they are actually half-brother and half-sister. Their father secretly hopes that they’ll give birth to an even stronger breed of children. After they marry though, both discover the secret and Seishirou is furious and leaves Karen. I don’t want to spoil the other half of the story, but it includes some motherly love, tentacles, bondage, centaur futanari (a girl with a penis) and the ultimate revenge from Karen. This story is the highlight of the book and it’s a must-read for any monster girl/centaur girl fan.
Aside from the other one-shot stories in the book, you have two-part stories like Ninja Blade. This one’s about a bat girl ninja named Sen and her older brother Kagemaru. They’re trying to complete their ninja trials and ascend in the clan ranks. However, only Sen succeeds. In the first episode, to heal her brother from depression, Sen starts teasing him sexually. Things really ramp up when Sen uses the clone ninjutsu technique to create a double of herself, while Kagemaru clones himself three times. Now he has four dicks to fill all four holes of Sen and Sen’s clone, all at the same time. This story builds up the relationship between both characters, and, in the second part, in order for Kagemaru to clear his ninja trials, he needs to watch his little sister get forced into prostitution, and use her body to please a disgusting human.
The ending is unexpected. I don’t know if I should consider it good or not, but it’s totally random. However, it’s a great ending for monster girl hentai enthusiasts.
For the shorter stories, you have one with a big yeti girl which is an older woman and a young boy love scene, the smaller variant yeti girl where the story is presented as a sketch as if someone was telling the story (which is a nice, original presentation), a satyr girl story which was an overly cute one, a mermaid girl underwater hentai, and an orc girl femdom.
There were two more monster girl tropes that piqued my interest: cow and succubus. Well, I know a cow is not actually a monster. However, an anime girl cow is. You don’t see that very often. And this book delivers in such amazing detail, since they actually pack two bigger breasts and two smaller ones, for a total of four, just like a real cow. Their bodies are just asking to be enjoyed for that sweet milk out of those jugs. If this is your thing, Milking Academy might be the best story in the book. Regarding the succubus, there are actually two stories, and in both, they mix boys love, and futanari (a girl with a penis). I think the second, Nightmare, was the best one. There is this young succubus that still has both sexes (s/he has a penis and a vagina). The sex that prevails will be the one the succubus enjoys the most. Even if the succubus wanted to be a male, the pleasure she gets when being inside her best friend, a young boy, makes her transform into a girl and be his personal succubus. Great ending to a weird but rather original story.
The care and thought Z-Ton gave to this book and its stories are shown in the SHIS Geographic segments that appear after some stories. Here you can read about the world the artist created, what original mythological beast each girl is based off, and so on. There are many monster girl races, and you can read about their differences here. It gives the feeling of a Z-Ton monster girl encyclopedia and makes me want to read more stories about these other types of monster girls (that wild goat is asking for a one-shot). Other extras include a total of seven colored artworks at the start of the book and two pages at the end where the artist talks about the ideas and concepts behind some of the stories and what some of them could have been. It’s always interesting to read about what happens behind the scenes.
The art in this book is very detailed. Every girl’s body is drawn meticulously. Some have fur, and the way Z-Ton mixes that with their female body parts is really sexy. All of the genitals look realistic (if the girls were actually real, that is), and I can’t think of any other way to experience this book than in an uncensored format. It takes nothing away from the art. I was curious to see how the satyr and yeti genitals looked, along with the mermaid, and my questions have been answered. I couldn’t be happier.
If you’re a monster girl fan, then this is a no-brainer and you need this in your collection. It’s probably the best monster girl hentai manga in English and it’s fully featured at that. It also mixes some other hentai sub-genres into the monster girl sub-genre, which makes for an amazing niche hentai experience.
