It has been revealed that an anime adaptation of Hiroto Ida’s You don’t know Gunma yet. (Omae wa Mada Gunma o Shiranai) manga has been green-lit and slated to air during April on Gunma TV, Animax, and GyaO!.
The announcement was made during voice actress (and Gunma Prefecture native) Aya Uchida’s solo concert at Tokyo’s Toyosu Pit venue and it was also revealed that she will be performing the anime’s ending theme song “So Happy”.
The staff will consist of:

Nori Kamitsuki moves from Chiba Prefecture to a fictionalized version of Gunma Prefecture northwest of Tokyo. Before moving to Gunma, Kamitsuki only sees that the prefecture has a fearsome reputation on the net. Upon moving, he soon makes contact with the people who hold a strong love of Gunma’s culture.
Omae wa Mada Gunma o Shiranai (You don’t know Gunma yet.) is a Japanese comedy manga series by Hiroto Ida, serialized online via Shinchosha’s Kurage Bunch website since October 2013. It has been collected in eight tankobon volumes. A 4-episode live-action television series adaptation aired between March 6 and 27, 2017 and a live-action film adaptation was released in July 2017, both starring Shotaro Mamiya. An anime television series adaptation by Asahi Production and CJT is scheduled to air from April 2018.
