Well then, what was it I said about the future of anime? Ah, yes. I remember now. In an earlier article, I wrote about how “moe” in anime is the industry standard. Highschool DxD, a show known for its mature content, is receiving a moe art style change to fit the recent trend of cute characters in anime. Now, not even Pokemon is safe from this treatment. Check out the recent shots of Ash (or Satoshi) in the latest PV of the upcoming Pokemon Movie.

What do you think of these changes? Art style aside, I think I’m going to enjoy this movie. It’s been a long time since I personally followed Pokemon, so this seems like a good time to get back in.
Ash sure has changed over the years. Will he ever age though? That’s the real question.
