We really do need to get the term “full life” going. Slow-life isekai are where protagonists want to take it easy, but the protagonist of Majutsu o Kiwamete Tabi ni Deta Tensei Elf, Moteamashita Jumyō de Ikeru Densetsu to Naru (The Reincarnated Elf Left on a Journey to Master His Magic and With His Extra Lifespan Became a Living Legend) (The Reincarnated Elf / Tensei Elf for short), wants the complete opposite. Indeed, he wants to live a truly full life and leave his mark on the new world to make up for his lackluster previous life.

The Reincarnated Elf News, Cast, Staff
The titular elven protagonist and his cute human friend are as follows:
- Liese Klein/Minoru Kido — Daiki Yamashita (Naoto Hachioji from Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro). Liese has decided to really use his second life by going on adventures.
- Minori — Hana Hishikawa (Aki Sizuha from Touhou Danmaku Kagura). Minori is Liese’s friend and a former slave.
Liese will begin his otherworldly journey sometime in January 2027. Studio Palette is producing the anime adaptation, with Yuki Inaba directing and writing.
The Reincarnated Elf has an official website and a Twitter (X) account with more information about the series and the key visuals.
The Reincarnated Elf Leaves Paradise for Adventure
Don’t let any of those “I want a slow life” isekai protagonists catch wind of Liese. This guy had his fateful meeting with Truck-kun and got the isekai experience express delivery. He left that world full of regret, and upon his rebirth, he decided to make the most of his second chance. However, he was born into a veritable paradise, with around a thousand years of guaranteed bliss in a sacred elven forest.
It’s been a while since we got an isekai protagonist who was reborn as something non-human. Liese became an elf and immediately stood out by working hard right at the start. He went from walking and talking before others to learning and mastering magic. Elves live around a thousand years, and they live a slow life by default, so he stood out right away. I’m curious to see how this adventurous soul spends his thousand years living a full life. There’s no word on a harem route, but imagine the harem of a long-lived, super-magical isekai protagonist. We only know about the slave girl he saved, and we don’t even know if she’s a love interest.
