If you haven’t hyped yourself for the anime adaptation of Marika’s Love Meter Malfunction, now’s the chance to do it. The anime’s production team has released a trailer, key visual, and info on the upcoming animation. Like most AnimeFesta titles, Marika-chan no Koukando wa Bukkowareteiru’s adaptation will have an uncut and a broadcast version. AnimeFesta will screen both versions of the anime’s first episode on March 13, about a full month before its broadcast premiere on April 5.

Marika’s Love Meter Malfunction’s lead VA cast includes:

Marika’s Love Meter Malfunction Details
Rin Komugi writes and illustrates the Marika’s Love Meter Malfunction manga. Suiseisha has serialized the manga on various websites since April 2024. The publisher will release the manga’s print version in April. You can read the first chapter of the manga on ComicFesta for free (Japanese only).
Marika-chan no Koukando wa Bukkowareteiru follows Kanata Kitami, a dude who’s hopelessly in love with his childhood friend Marika Chitose. Unable to confess to her, he wishes upon a shooting star for a chance to garner her love. But instead of getting her love, Kanata-kun gains the ability to see people’s love meter! However, his new dating-game ability quickly shows him that Marika’s love meter is abysmally low! But how can that be the case? Marika always seems smitten with him! Could it be that something is wrong with her love meter?
