Koichi Haimawari and the other Naruhata Vigilantes continue to risk their lives to protect their home. The heroes can’t be everywhere, and every little bit helps. Though their vigilantism is technically illegal, they can still be friends with licensed pro heroes, such as Midnight and Eraser Head. While the vigilantes fight the good fight, Eraser Head will reflect on a tragedy that shaped who he is as a hero. We’ll see his recollection when My Hero Academia: Vigilantes (Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals) Season 2 premieres on January 5th, 2026. The trailer is also available with subtitles.

Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court released the original My Hero Academia: Vigilantes manga series with Kohei Horikoshi’s supervision between August 20th, 2016, and May 28th, 2022. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Cast
Two of the brave illegal vigilantes and a famous hero are as follows:

- Koichi Haimawari / The Crawler — Shuichiro Umeda (Yuuki Izumi in Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie). Koichi was once just a normal guy who now uses his seemingly useless Slide and Glide Quirk to save lives.
- Kazuho Haneyama / Pop☆Step — Ikumi Hasegawa (Ciel from Tsukihime). Kazuho is a popular street performer who uses her Leap Quirk to save people.
- Nemuri Kayama / Midnight — Akeno Watanabe (Kneesocks from New Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt). Midnight is the wildly popular and tantalizing 18+ hero who lets her sadistic side show during fights.
Bones Film has maintained a home page, an Instagram page, a TikTok page, and a Twitter (X) page to promote My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. You can find more information about the series and the key visuals over there.

Save the Day and Break the Law All at Once With My Hero Academia: Vigilantes
Koichi Haimawari grew up admiring the great hero All Might. His dreams of joining All Might seemed impossible given his weak Quirk. Koichi spent years using his Slide and Glide Quirk to emit energy fields and travel to and fro. He finally heeded the call to action and donned an All Might costume to fight against evil as a vigilante. Now known as The Crawler, he joins Pop☆Step and Knuckleduster to protect Naruhata from the nefarious forces that hide in the shadows.

The Pro Hero Eraser Head continues his job even after the Sky Egg Bombing incident. His friend and 18+ Hero Midnight calls and tells him that she and his other friend are waiting for him to take up a teaching post at UA alongside them. Eraser Head recalls his time at UA, his less-than-stellar debut to the world of heroes, and the tragedy that pushed him to become the hero he is today.
