The Story of Nukitashi The Animation

Nukitashi the Animation is a highly perverted anime based on a visual novel by doujin circle turned independent publisher Qruppo. The story takes place on Seiran Island, one of the many remote islands around Japan. But this is a very special island: because of Japan’s low birthrate, a law has been put in place requiring that everyone have sex, every day. Anyone who resists having sex with multiple partners is judged to be in violation of the Pervert Law and dealt with harshly.

Junnosuke Tachibana and his sister Asane have transferred to the school on the island after the death of their parents. They’re immediately shocked at the bizarre world they’ve been thrust into, with everyone copulating openly with any partner they can find. Junnosuke has two reasons to push back against the bizarre sexual rules of his new world: he wants to protect Asane, who is a lesbian, from being forced to have sex with random men. Also, he’s got a giant cock, and developed a fear of having others look at it or touch it. He teams up with some like-minded rebels to form a group called the Anti-Copulation Front to fight the unfair law!

A Huge Cast of Insane Characters

The cast of characters in the anime is huge. In addition to Junnosuke and his sister Asane we meet Nanase, a gal famous on the island for being the strongest “bitch” (slut) in history, though she’s secretly still a virgin. Misaki, who has a complex about her weight and is sure no one would want to have sex with her. Hinami, the senpai who gets ignored by potential partners because she looks so young, so she has to engage in masturbation, which is forbidden by law. Fumino, who becomes the sniper of the group. They’ll band together to do battle with the evil Seiran Health Organization and their armed enforcers!

I picked the wrong school to go to…

Anime naturally avoids showing certain topics. Divorce is one: except for occasional use as background for a character, we almost never hear about this in anime. Mundane and boring situations like the Kiritsu! Rei! Chakuseki! (“Stand! Bow! Take your seats!”) bowing ceremony that Japanese students do at the end of homeroom class in high school is another situation that rarely finds its way into anime. But thanks to the bizarre sexual practices of the world of Nukitashi, we finally get to see a version of this!

This Anime is a Real “Passione Project”

I knew without checking the Internet that Nukitashi could only have been made by Passione, the anime studio responsible for bringing us Ishizoku Reviewers, Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo and Love Flops.

And like Love Flops, the show hits us with hilarious tropes that any aficionado of Japanese perverted culture will recognize. Tenga Eggs being repurposed as weapons of war. Referencing the “What is this white, thick liquid?” meme from Madoka Magica. Misaki, trying to lose weight by riding the Climax Bicycle, which has a dildo built into the seat.
