Japan’s Victory in the WBC Was Extremely Exciting
The final WBC match between Japan and the U.S. team was incredible, and Mrs. J-List and I were watching live. It all came down to the final inning, with Shohei Otani throwing the final strike against fellow Los Angeles Angles teammate Mike Trout. There’s no way the final game of the World Baseball Classic could have been more enjoyable for baseball fans.
Japanese baseball fans are extremely dedicated, and my father-in-law often watches one game on TV while listening to another game being broadcast on the radio…all while reading two or three sports newspapers. So he joined all of Japan in celebrating Japan’s exciting victory in the ninth inning.
