Common to some, obscure and wild to others: Japan celebrates Christmas nationwide with fried chicken, specifically KFC. Well, KFC España has taken the bull by the horns to campaign an absolute joke as a limited-time special item on their menu, complete with a new commercial shot in Tokyo. Aside from it being teriyaki flavored, there honestly isn’t much else to it. Odds are you can get the same product under a different name in any country that has KFC. However, as capitalism has shown time and time again, marketing can sometimes be the defining key to success. What kind of marketing could they be doing? Truth is: memes.
